I have being given some sad news about our forum member Rob 2095, it would seem that Rob passed away on November 18th, 2014, this is one day after he last visited the forum. I was aware Rob hadn't visited the forum for sometime but put this down to work/family commitments. I was familiar with Rob from the ELO Forever Forum but got to know him better when this new forum was set up. He was one of the first members to join and in the forums early days his comments and advice were helpful in developing the forum to what it is today, Rob also provided many of the forum header pictures we still use, he will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with his family and friends, RIP Rob2095.

I got to know Alex aka Rob on the old ELO Forever Forum when his username was Discoverme. He always had a clever wit about him, and could come up with some off the wall comments that would make me laugh out loud. He was only 27 when he passed. Too damn young. RIP Alex.

Oh No! I'm so very sorry to hear this news! Alex peace and love brother of E.L.O. My prayers and thoughts are with your family! I'm really upset by this news. "Mr. Blue you did it right, but soon comes Mr. Night, creepin over now his hand is on your shoulder, never mind, I'll remember you, I'll remember you this way!"

I'm utterly saddenned by this news. You know, I had a strange feeling about his absence since the beginning, that's why I asked a few times about him. He had been on the forums since so many years and never quit so when all of sudden he didn't enter the forum any longer I swear I could sense something was really wrong but thought we would never get to know anything about it. I used to have a special feeling with the guy. It felt like we were in the same frequence and we enjoyed the same kind of sense of humour. He was very clever and always had sharp and witty answers for everything. We used to start talking and joking about anything and completely derailed the subject of the thread, much to other users and the moderators' dismay. We often invited each other to participate in threads just for the sake of saying something weird. He jumped in my defense a couple of times when I was very new to ELO and the forum and had said a few things that made other users grab their heads, so we had a great internet relation since then. If this is a terrible loss for the forum, I can't imagine for his family and friends who knew him personally. May them and him find some peace now. Horace, are you allowed to tell us anything about the circumstances?

Horace, are you allowed to tell us anything about the circumstances? I'm the one who informed Horace about it, but since he is the mod, I felt maybe it was his place to let people know. I have no idea what happened, only that he died in Florida on November 18th. I can't find a full obituary anywhere, but there are mentions of it Here and Here

Thanks, Chippa. So nobody told you, you just found out by yourself because you knew his complete name and surname... Whatever happened to him, how unfortunate... just 27!

This is unhappy news. My sympathies to his family. I wondered where Rob 2095 went to as well. Only 27? His intellect had him appear older. I hope someone from his family, or friends, find our forum memorial's to him.

I never knew Rob 2095 but it's still a shock to hear of someone who was obviously such a great character passing on at such a very young age. You forumites who did know him must all feel the loss deeply and my thoughts are with you and his family; if there's an ELO heaven he is surely right there in the middle of it right now. RIP.

Yeah, I saw that he hadn't posted here since November, so since I knew his real name was Alex Robert Church, and he was 27 years old from Florida, I did a Google search and found out the unfortunate news.

Yeah, he never went more than a few days without posting. It's good that you googled him. I hope someone from his family, or friends, find our forum memorial's to him. There's only this lady who could know something, and to whom we could give advice about our little forum memorial: Jenny L Littlejohn Age: 35-39 Address 5835 Santa Monica St Milton, FL 32583-6193 Her name is there on the site Chippa pasted the link to. Then I googled for more data about her and that's all I could find. It's a pity her email address isn't there.
