Def Leppard achieved what could be considered an upset victory in round seven, so they will move on.
Round eight is between The Gibb Brothers in the Bee Gees and the veteran cosmic rockers in the Moody Blues.

Moodies. Bee Gees are great but the Moodies are special.

I'm a big fan of The Moody Blues, but I have a weird soft spot in my heart for The Bee Gees.

Love Moody Blues. But I don't think I can properly explain why I'm voting for the Bee Gees. During a period of time, they were always just "there".

Trickiest so far I'd say. Plumping for the Bee Gees because of their range of catchy songs and the way they're so easy for people like Kenny Everett to make fun of

That's badass!! I like most of the singles by the Moodies, but Bee Gees are more consistently good.

BTW when I was a kid I thought the Moody's song was called Knights in white satin. I thought the song was about a bunch of effeminate soldiers on a never ending quest to find a grail or something!

When The Dickies play Nights in White Satin live they say the Moody Blues wrote the song for them

I go with the Bee Gees. I like some Moody Blues, and Justin Hayward's voice, but the brothers Gibb are iconic, and there's the Australian connection too.
