When you sport a goaty beard, wear aviators, and would drop a newborn on its head to get to the radio to turn up the hairy Brummies!

... you can't look in a shop window without re-enacting the back cover of Face The Music. (And then witnessing half the customers making a hurried exit.)

Thought this would be a fun thread to revive... Things I have actually done:you go out shopping and try on all the sunglasses to see which make you look the most like Jeff. ...when you wish you were back in 1981 too You name a cactus "Wilf Gibson"... (I hope you don’t mind, Uno! After discovering The Street Next Door’s song “Inacwg” and finding it absolutely brilliant, I realized that my cactus hadn’t yet been given a name and felt the need to set things right... I didn’t find out until later that you actually had a cactus named Wilf Gibson!) And of course... you join an ELO forum Things I have now added to my bucket list: (...I especially want to try the last one with a group of friends ) ... you try to convince your colleagues that "My orders are to sit here and watch the world go by..." (Go on, somebody, try this! Dare you!) ...you start your phone calls with "Hello, how are you? Have you been all right?" When lining up for a family photo, you automatically bare your belly button. ... you can't look in a shop window without re-enacting the back cover of Face The Music. (And then witnessing half the customers making a hurried exit.)

You know you’re addicted to ELO when...
...your smartphone’s text prediction has learned the names of all the ELO members.

You're in the grocery store when an ELO song starts playing overhead and you walk around hoping to find a better area to hear it and not moving until the song is over. Nutso
I finally bought a pair of prescription aviator sunglass's! I'm cool!

No worries Grroosss - there is plenty of room in the world for another cactussy Wilf
In fact you've just reminded me that I forgot to post my Wilf's yearly burst into bloom just before Christmas -well, I took the photo but then couldn't face searching for whatever thread I used to put it on. It's been ages since I posted any pics from Postimage but hopefully here he is, flowering away in November last year

To be sure - although he has lost a few branches recently as he was starting to colonise parts of the kitchen well beyond his boundaries so I had to get firm with him. It will do him good in the long term *nods*

I finally bought a pair of prescription aviator sunglass's! I'm cool! I am very guilty of walking around to better hear ELO in supermarkets. And I do stand there for far longer than I should on the off chance that they may play another track.
