I've been to 3-4 Orchestra gigs over the years, plus Hux solo shows, and they are, without exception, engaging and high energy.

Somehow had no notion that Mik was still resident in the UK - given how predominantly US-centric the Orchestra's alumni and touring radius have become in the past decade, I previously figured that he'd simply moved westwards for convenience (didn't Louis Clark pass away in Ohio?). In regards to the group's most recent UK performance, the listing within Parthenon Huxley's recent book suggests that it was at the Rewind South Festival in August 2018, with the final UK "tour" (consisting of three shows - I believe footage of the show at Sheffield's Plug venue is floating around YT) dating back to 2014. Although Huxley's book admittedly omits any potential 2007-11 dates owing to his contemporary absence from the band, said "tour" is the only recorded example of The Orchestra playing multiple consecutive UK shows since Phil Bates' departure, further suggesting (albeit not confirming) that the dropoff roughly coincided with Kelly's death (unless anyone has any recollection of the Bates-Burtnik lineup touring the country circa 2010). That being said, the band have evidently toured mainland European (Spain, Poland, etc.) more extensively in the interim, hence I'm unsure why there's such a comparative dearth of UK shows in particular post-Kelly. Mik may have moved to the US, I'm only assuming that he still lives here in Yorkshire. About 10 years ago, I was in Knaresborough a beautiful little town about 45 minutes from where I live and I saw Mik walk into a bookies (it was either that or a pub!)

I've heard Mik's partner is American so maybe he stays in America & sometimes comes back to Yorkshire? I'm sure someone out there knows more than I do!

Mik’s American girlfriend is a fairly recent development. Mik will be in the US a lot for the Orchestra’s upcoming tour, but I don’t think he has moved here. I’m no Kaminski expert, but in the past the UK members have often posted their flight routes on social media along with an occasional photo.

I can see Mik relocating permanently to the States if he has an American partner, it makes more sense.
