here's a copy that should work
I noticed that Metric has tinkered with the ELO formula. They've got 3 violins and only 1 cello for this performance on Leno.

"These are other great tracks from the album OUTSIDE TIME by OLD FUTURE CRASH. An incredible album full of ELO/JEFF sound."
Really very Jeff from the "Time" era - "Sorry" is very similar to "Rain is Falling". I like what they've done but the one thing that stands out for me is what a fantastic instrument Jeff's voice is. I appreciate the singer here isn't singing in his first language and what he does is excellent but put Jeff's vocal in and these songs would be lifted to another stratosphere - great thread this one

I just discovered this song from a weekly playlist that Spotify put together based on what I listen to. The string arrangements are very Louis Clark and there's a choir as well. I know UNKLE well as I have some of their albums. This is their remix of a song by Perry Farrell who is best known as the lead singer of the rock group Jane's Addiction.

Unfortunately, aside from a couple songs on YouTube and Soundcloud, it appears they've completely removed their albums from every corner of the internet (iTunes, bandcamp, cdbaby, Spotify). Any idea where I could get a hold of their albums??

Any idea where I could get a hold of their albums?? I bought the CD from the lead singer on Facebook. His name is Mauri Martinez. You should be able to reach him through the links on their YouTube posts as well. He's about to release a new one under his own name that sounds quite similar.

great find elophile May's video is like a cross between Aaron Lee Tasjan (ground hog deja vu) and one of Parthenon's Pandemic Houseguy episodes (invented band mates)

It also has scenes with multiple Dent Mays, like the Mercy video with multiple Jeff Lynnes.

great find elophile May's video is like a cross between Aaron Lee Tasjan (ground hog deja vu) and one of Parthenon's Pandemic Houseguy episodes (invented band mates) I highly recommend Dent May's last 2 albums, Late Checkout and Across The Multiverse. I've been listening to them both and having lots of "Well played, Sir" moments. Lots for an ELO fan to enjoy in his music! I liked Parthenon Huxley's Houseguy episode! I've been enjoying a few of the lockdown youtube shows that have come about. Toyah and Robert's Sunday Lunch is a fun one. Mr Elophile likes it better than I do for some reason... smileys-whistling-823718

Here's another Dent May. Very-disco Disco-very era. At 2:44 there's a nice elo-esque string interlude. I'm laughing watching the video because my dude is so pale and pasty and he's shirtless throughout much of it. I guess that's his thing.
