The two from "Time".
The fact that "Standin' in the rain" made it so far is puzzling to me. Not one of the worst... just irrelevant, a filler.

I felt the same way when Getting To The Point made it as far as the final sixteen. To me, it was always a relatively unremarkable album track. I guess it all comes down to how the songs are paired off.

I thought that too, not a fantastic song just good.... I felt the same way when Getting To The Point made it as far as the final sixteen. To me, it was always a relatively unremarkable album track. I guess it all comes down to how the songs are paired off. So interesting, the different ways we see/ hear these songs. Getting to the Point to me has a level of aching vulnerability in the lyrics that makes the song very compelling. The vocals are beautiful. The storytelling is not as straightforward as in Telephone Line, but less vague than in Big Wheels, but it has the same kind of sad longing that I love in those earlier songs. Considering the events in JL's life at the time, it could also be a window into his psyche during that period. It's an under- appreciated classic in my humble opinion.
