Helmut- Loosenin' Up - would make a fantastic sneaky end of CD song. Like Jeff's Eldorado and The White Album. Yeah, that one was kind of a bonus track. Definitely the song with less work of the album. It's like a small snack between two stronger dishes like "RITF" and bHabs' "Across the sea", but you are right, it could have worked well closing the album.

Jim - Kennedy Drive - Talking Heads. Good Thing. Neat, neat vocal. Candid Assertion Blues - Late 50, early 60's vibe. Chill out man.

Yeah, "Kennedy Drive" is fantastic, very inspired. It's all in the melody: great hooks, very catchy. The introductory riff is great too. It got stuck in my head, even when I don't understand much of the lyrics.
I would like to hear a live, full-band version of the song; I bet it would rock.

Jim Yeah, in fact I was about to call it "Her Rasta Majesty", but then I got afraid of Paul, Ringo and Yoko filing a lawsuit against me and refrained.

Paul and Ringo would probably say to just send them some hash and they'll call it even. Jim

Yeah, that Yoko... but I didn't give her the chance. Better call it "Loosenin' up" and everything's OK.

OK, guys, I haven't done this since high school, when I was forced to (or to be fair, I did it when I studied Italian, but this time it's in English again): reading comprehension. Yeah, I tried to get the lyrics of Jim's hit "Kennedy Drive". I was really intrigued by them, and I wrote down all which I understood, knowing that around half of it is product of me not understanding correctly because the phrases don't make much sense. Maybe you guys could help me, or better still, contribute more to my confusion. Here's what I got (it is forbidden to laugh, I warn you ) : "I have a pen-drive Having time for to survive Out for a nice summer ride We’ll sing it round and round Throwing our foes to the town We are having the time of our lives, let us be together Fire after the pan Driving loosely for the ram’s den Tomorrow is working again And I will sing it in ‘round and ‘round Throwing our foes to the town We are having the time of our lives till us be together Singing it ‘round and ‘round Going a hose to the town Having the time of our lives just to be together".

Helmut83 Did you see 8)Drive in movie...? Yeah, I saw it. Definitely sounds much more to it. But then you come to think about that whole line. The guy is driving with a girl and all of a sudden, for unexplained reasons, he declares he's going to a ram's den... it must be a ram he knows, not any ram, because he said "the" ram's den, and not "a" ram's den. I'm not really sure rams live in dens, but I know for sure they are dangerous animals, specially if you are heading directly to the place they consider their home. Even like this, it would make more sense if the guy is driving loosely (could be a twisted word for "relaxed" or "slowly", supposing he is not aware of the dangerous situation he is about to get himself into) for the ram's den, because what would "driving in movie for the ram's den" mean? That him and everything around him turned into a movie? Heck, this is the result of not having gone anywhere on my vacations...
