Like I said, I've seen ELO twice. Maybe I would have seen part two in their early days with Hughie,Mik,Bev,Louie and Kelly but not the later lineups. With the 'Elo experience' I had two+ hours of the most amazing songs written, including some lesser known album tracks.I urge anyone to try to see them, you will be impressed. I believe they also use a spaceship on some tour dates! you never got that with part 2!!!

They are very good, they are from my home town and I've seen them 3 times and have front row tickets for Jan 2015. I wouldn't let the opportunity pass you by. They do the whole of concerto for rainy day! Concerto for a rainy day....definitely worth a go then....when Jeff does his world tour....please please....this would be something i would really hope he would do....it would be an amazing experience....

I've just returned from seeing them and am thoroughly glad I went. I don't know if there was a knock-on effect from Hyde Park but the 700 seat venue was packed. I was slightly surprised at how old the majority of the audience seemed to be - at 50 I was one of the youngest there - but they were very enthusiatic and well up for a bit of audience participation. They really are a decent band and I was especially pleased to see they have a pukka string section. No spaceship though - the stage was obviously not big enough! My only slight criticisms would be the lead singer's voice isn't very adaptable - he struggled with some of the higher range vocals - and I didn't think the lead guitarist was that great but they are minor quibbles. If they are ever back in town I'll be there like a shot.

Funnily enough,I thought I was one of the youngest there when I saw them and I was 48 then! your quibbles seem fair enough, after all(!) he isn't Jeff.Would really recommend them.

No but I definitely wasn't the only person in the hall with double hip replacements!

I'll report back after the concert on Friday. www.elotribute.com/eloexperience_media.html

I see they do 'Four Little Diamonds', I'd see them for that alone. 'Latitude 88 North' is an interesting choice, not even the real Jeff, I imagine, would think to include that in a set.

Me too queeny! I love four little diamonds! Hey do any of you guys know it was used in one of the grand theft auto games a few years ago? "Give y'all a laugh" I worked with a guy who once walked passed me singing it "I was working in the game retail", but he was singing it wrong his words were...."poor little valence" Bahahaha I can still remember p*ss**g myself laughing!
