Eeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy!!!! I'm the winner!!! The winner takes it all!!! Argentina, Argentina! I can hear all the people chanting "Maradoooooo, Maradooooo, Maradoooooo...". Don't worry, Horace, I'm a good friend so I'lll send you a few pics of Chereene and me in the bathtub, along with a few chorizos from the barbecue. Well, now off to prepare my little speech infront of this this exultant crowd.

Mrs Wimp put the champagne on ice, there is always next year. I mean it was a fix my entry was the only Xmas themed one and it still lost. I guess I will never make my winning speech now, I am just a useless Wimp
I wish to thank my Mum (RIP) and Dad, brother and sister, Mrs Wimp for the cake, daughters number one and two, Pip the Dog (RIP), Bibbles the hamster and EAO for the inspiration for this project and standing by me through the hard times, long nights and tears of sadness and joy. To my fellow forum friends who I have beaten hard luck maybe it will be your turn next year. Finally my appreciation goes to Hong Kong and Ray Ban who kindly supplied the beard, wig and sunglasses. As the great Jeff Lynne says fan-bloody-tastic, good night I'm off to celebrate with my new famous friends and groupies.Congratulations Helmut83 a worthy winner, I hold no grudge just say hello to Chereene from me and tell her she can come and stroke my animals anytime she likes.

I must say, a suitably worded runner's up speech says a lot about a man's character, nice one Horace! And Helmut's triumphant acceptance speech was most uplifting...but hang on..the winner might not take it all... smiley-music025

Might be...stay tuned... Edit: Is there a Brian Blessed fansite? You could enter the cake there, it does look a bit like him in his younger days

Well, first of all, I would like to thank everyone here in the public, but most of all thank myself, because it wasn't any of you who did that masterpiece; it was me. So I don't even know why I started my speech thanking you.
Then, I'd like to thank my competitors Horace Wimp and Waldo Wilbury. Your works were really good, both the photos of the Lord Dame and the "Xanadu" version, but beating you was, as they say, "piece of cake" (get the little joke? Horace competed with a... what a master of the humour I am!). Unfortunately now those great works shall remain obscure an not get the press they deserve...
Then, I'd also like to thank the judges. To tell the truth, I didn't trust you much but at the end of the day you did what's fair. Now I'll send you that fat, healthy slice of... hhhmmm... of... ham?... yes, of ham you were asking me for.
Well, I'd like to keep on thanking everyone for supposed merits that you never really did but the hut tub is about to fill up, so I'd better go to turn the tap off. Who is that calling me to my cell phone right now when I'm about to end the spee... Chereene... is it you...?
Well, bye, guys, and thanks!

After a bit of googling any chance you could fix up Sarah O'Brien as a consolation prize?

* Climbs down from the stage * "Ok, Chereene, I must leave you now... see you later!"
* Sees Horace, shakes hands with him* "Well played"
* Sees Waldo's aunt, shakes hands with her "tell your nephew 'well played'".
