No worries about extending the deadline, even HW must agree it'll be more fun with just a bit of competition?

I know I'm coming in late and this is supposed to be pictures. But outside of the challenge, I'll do something musical for you guys. I mean, I may not be able to read music, but that Wilbury blood gives me some musical ability. So I'll hit the keys and post something shortly. -WW

This is excellent news - have you discovered The Electric Animal Orchestra yet? You'll find it hard to resist joining, it's here jefflynneselo.proboards.com/thread/194/electric-animal-orchestra-raining-farmSo far there has been one epic outpouring, but more is promised soon Plus Jim is compiling a CD of individual masterpieces, that's in the Music section also down in the lower reaches. Great to have another musician on board, rock on!

Animals? Hmm.. I fired up the Electronic Lost Planet Orchestra and did a "quickie" just for you guys. It starts out pretty normal, then goes a little nuts. But it's fun. And if you don't like it, just delete and never listen again! Oh, it's Xanadu. So there you go. Not the best, but hopefully fun. No, I don't sing. I don't want to really ruin it! www.thelostplanet.net/clips/ELPO-Xanadu-1-5-15around-the-world.mp3Enjoy! -WW

Dear organizers and dear competitor Horace, I've just gotten the material. Tomorrow I'll publish my work.
Don't worry, Horace, if I happen to be in a good mood the day I take the prize I can make a little room for you in one corner of the tub.

After WaldoWilbury excellent entry we might need a bigger hot tub, we already needed a wide one to house Chereene long legs

Disappoints me no gals entered. Huge reason if a gal won she would invite Uno and I to share the hot tub with her AND Lord Dame! Bummer. It's not too late! H W will, yet again, change the date! Right H W?

I'm going to compete with some previously inedit, unreleased and unprecedented photos of a secret reunion the band (with it's 1975-1979 formation) had somewhere during the '90s to play in some private venues. I guess you didn't know that thing ever happened, did you? Voilà: After this first concert Jeff cut his hair a little bit and took off his glasses. Note that Kelly was already bald then (and Melvyn Gale had dyed his hair a bit). This photo proves that G'mork, who can be seen lurking around in the background, was already a big fan of the band back then and had access to events that other big fans didn't even know were happening:

Excellent Helmut83 G'mork was very honoured to attend such a reunion Who knew that Mik is either very small or has a life sized violin, what song did they play Legorado Tornado?

Hahaha, no, they are not legos! They are Playmobils.
And yeah, poor Mik, age hit him quite hard and he had shrinked a lot by that time.

Golden! Well worth the wait! I can't get over Beveys drum set! Mik's violin! Great shot of the band from above! G'mork, was he kept well away from Lucyfer? Or was it the other way around? Poor Richard. Playing air piano because the real one was left back from another show? Gonna be a hard choice, boyo's!

If you watch carefully, Richard is reading something from a lectern, probably the partitures of what he had to play (or maybe reading Mozart while imagining the music in his head and not caring at all about ELO). The piano doesn't come out in the photo but I'm sure it was behind the lectern.
And G'mork, I'm sure Lucyfer was keeping hinself away from him. I don't know what he was about to do there, but his intentions don't look pristine.
Also, you can see that not all of the members of the band were fully commited for those shows. Of the strings section, only Hugh McDowell had remembered to take his bow with him.
