I enjoy the heck out of both versions but Jeff sounds like a badass on The Move's version -- and Badass Jeff always get's my vote!

Bucking the trend... I'm voting Jeff!
I'm not actually a big fan of the new versions, but I don't think that either of the Move or ELO versions quite nailed it. Do Ya is a classic rock song and the Move version needed a more 'balls', whilst the ELO version was too slick.
For me, Do Ya came to life in it's live form, with Jeff proving that (in another lifetime) he could have been a total guitar hero. This comes through much more in the reworked version, IMO.

ELO. "Do ya" is the type of song you want as strong as possible and the version that has more strength is ELO's.

It's not my favourite Move/ELO track by any means but although I think the song suits the Move better I prefer the ELO version most.
