I believe football season ended last month, Chippa, so he's probably mostly drinking beer....unfortunately.

I got the ASCAP site to open. Here are the songs I found that me and the folks in the Facebook group Jeff Lynne's Blue World can't trace back to something known.
The Y in the third column means it was listed on the elodiscovery website two years ago when Nicolas was looking for clues about songs on the upcoming album.
Let's see what our experts in the Horace Wimp forum make of these song titles registered to Jeff Lynne and not listed as recorded by any artist.

Let's see if I can't shed a bit of light on some of that list...
Country Song Believed to be the working title for Wild West Hero, or at least an alternate home demo that isn't the same as what was released in 2007 on the expanded remaster for Out Of The Blue. (This exists on one of Rob Caiger's many CDRs of potential bonus tracks for that reissue campaign, as assembled between roughly 1999 and 2006.)
Eve Believed to be the title of that short piece first heard at the end of Louis Clark's instrumental medley for Out Of The Blue. At the very least, this registry entry popped up not long before that medley, which usually happens when an artist is looking to protect an outtake that has just surfaced or is suddenly at greater risk of leaking.
Magic Erroneously credited to Jeff, this is the track from Xanadu, written by John Farrar.
Sad But It's True Believed to be the actual title of the Time session outtake previously described by an engineer who worked on the sessions as possibly being called Sad Affair based on its chorus lyrics.
Shard End Crescent Believed to have been recorded around 2005, possibly for the scrapped follow-up to Zoom that also included such tracks as One Day, Lucky Motel, Out Of Luck and Point Of No Return.
Venga La Alegría Cues This is a Mexican breakfast show that has a record of using ELO tracks as jingles.
W'Hemme Altijd Groten Dorst Localised cover of Rock 'N' Roll Is King released in 1983 by schlager group De Strangers.

DUH! He's busy moving into that new house he bought. It's taking forever to get all the gold records hung up and the awards placed just so. The man is running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get everything perfect.

Judging by the songs meant for the follow up to ZOOM it would have been a solid album, shame.

Jeff may be working on a soundtrack for Xanadu II, the prequel where ONJ is a grade school gal that lives in Shard End. LOL

LOL Perhaps in the story she meets a boy from a local gang who is also a car buff. They fall in love but it causes problems with their own groups of friends. In the end she toughens up and they get together. No it's a stupid story. Who'd be interested in a musical like that?

This may be true, but the original demo recording dates from the late Sixties when Jeff helped Roy Wood with Blackberry Way.
