I've only just realised how little of Time was actually performed during the tour. Depending on where you saw the show, the set list varied such as 'The Way Life's Meant To Be' was only played in Europe because in the UK and USA, it was replaced by 'Here Is The News' . 'Ticket To The Moon' was only played in a few shows in the US. Only 6 songs from the album were ever played in one show (if you count Prologue and Twilight as one) Another Heart Breaks, Rain Is Falling,The Lights Go Down and 21st Century Man were never used.

I would love to see Time given the full live treatment, ie. played in it's entirety in album order.

You've more chance of Jeff getting Bev on stage for a few songs than a Time Live concert. He doesn't appear to have much love for it. I think Twilight is the only song thats been played live since Hyde Park

You're right, Hold On Tight is the bands 2nd biggest hit (in the UK at least) and apart from TDOHW and I'm Alive probably the least played of the 'big hits'....

The Orchestra has done Twilight, Ticket To The Moon and Hold On Tight every time I've seen them. The two former have always been the highlights of the show for me. I wish Jeff would do them as well. Even Twilight was dropped from the set right after Wembley which was a real downer seeing him in Sep18. By that time, the only 'new' song left on the set was Standing In The Rain.

I think we have a better chance of seeing Shardender's book.

I think Twilight is the only song thats been played live since Hyde Park When I attended Jeff Lynne's concert the repertoire featured songs from all ELO studio albums but two: Balance of Power (not a surprise knowing it is often overlooked by both fans and Jeff) and Time, which happens to be my favourite album, but clearly not Jeff's.

The damn fool could do Endless Lies and 21st Century Man as a sit down.

"Damn fool" is a saying. It does not equate with "Dotard". Don't put words in my mouth.

"Damn fool" is a saying. It does not equate with "Dotard". Don't put words in my mouth. It's name-calling. Why do you have so much animosity toward someone who has given so much pleasure through his music? It isn't funny to call Jeff a "damn fool." It doesn't make you look clever. Just help me understand your motivation.

Both of you have made your point, you will have to agree to disagree, let’s move on or the thread will be locked.

Surely you haven't read Jeff's liner notes for the 2007 remastered edition of BOP? He calls the album "one of the better ones [by ELO]" of the last century.

In that case, I'm one of the lucky ones to have heard Calling America live!
