That is a nice car Buttler. Whenever I think of my dream car, I always go into the 'could I afford to own it' mode so my dream cars always end up something like TR7s or MX5s etc....

I wouldn’t mind a old Metro 6R4 or currently a Toyota Yaris GR.
I’m thinking of getting a petrol hot hatch in the next six months, might be the last petrol car I have before I’m forced to electric.

When I was little I always wanted a Lada because we passed the factory in Yorkshire by train every time we went on holiday.

That would be my approach, an MX5 convertible would suit me nicely. There was a lovely TVR on Top Gear the other week too, a chimera or a cerbera I think, wouldn't mind one of them either. I'd be afraid of something like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, don't think they're designed to be relaxing drives

When I was in short pants, it was this one... To be honest, I was still in the pram when it was first shown on telly

I used to love the pink panther car, I saw a short film about it and it was a pig to drive apparently....(oh,and it wasn't the boy who drove it,that was just an illusion)

My brother has got an MX5 BBR Turbo it goes like the clappers, it beats the Mazda RX8 I used to have, the RX8 used to put a smile on my face every time I drove it.

I loved my VW Polo, now sadly gone to the garage in the sky. It even had a "personalised" number plate (by coincidence - I had the car before we formed the Street Next Door!) I'd be very happy with the same again. One day.

Remind us of the engine the RX8 had.... A rotary Wankel engine, you could rev it to over 9000rpm and it would still produce more power. Here is my mug.

Mrs T got me and Timeblue Jr a test track experience day out a few years ago, I chose an Aston Martin DB7 and he chose a Lamboghini Gallardo. I say 'day out', it was 2 laps around an airfield that last about 3 minutes (not great value...)
