It came out well after the disco era, did very well in the uk, if I remember right, it was their last UK number one single. I only got to see them once during the, One night only tour. That's right, no. 1 in the UK but only 75 I think in the US.

Nice! The video is very late 1980s. Visually it reminds me of a mixture of Robert Palmer and Peter Gabriel videos from that period. I’m a very big fan fan of Robert Palmer, sadly never got to see him sing.

my friends and I used to listen to Bee Gees Gold over and over in the mid '70s it had all of their hits from '67 to '72 including this one the last bit cuts off abruptly

Noticed this one didn’t chart in the US, it did very well in the UK, reminds me of another Bee Gees written song chain reaction by Diana Ross,

There's a feature film in the works to be directed by Kenneth Branagh. Be interesting to see how accurate it is as the numerous bust-ups they had over the years were said to be volcanic and incredibly bitter. Barry still feels guilty that he and Maurice had fallen out (again) when Mo died suddenly.
