Recently watched a couple of great documentaries that I can thoroughly recommend. If you have Sky Arts, catch-up, then see "Class Action Park", which is the hilarious and hair-raising story of a 1980s New Jersey amusement/theme park where the owner wasn't overly concerned with health and safety and designed rides and attractions that were verging on death-traps but were still hugely popular. Its made by HBO so might also be available to our American members. Probably been mentioned here before but if you haven't seen "Anvil:The Story Of Anvil" then do so. It's the story of a Canadian 80's heavy metal band who were on the verge of big things but never made it and who are on the comeback trail. Its basically Spinal Tap, but for real, and it's even funnier! It's available on YouTube.

I've seen the Anvil docu, like you say it's a bit like Spinal Tap.

I can recommend The Banksy Job on Sky Arts, it stars a mad guy who has convinced himself that he's an artist and decides to kidnap a Banksy statue from the centre of London as a statement. He then tries to hold it to ransom but Banksy is having none of it. The first attempt to steal the statue had to be abandoned when one of his accomplices turned up late because he had to pick his kid up from school, then suggested bringing the kid along. I found it most entertaining, again in a shambolic,Spinal Tap sort of way
