...to a favourite actor of mine, Christopher Plummer who sadly passed yesterday. As a child he was Captain Von Trapp, then he was a group captain in Battle Of Britain, then the Duke of Wellington in Waterloo.....
R.I.P. Christopher....

Apparently not universally admired in his private life but certainly he had a great film career and an impressively long innings. RIP Christopher.

I don't think I've seen a Christopher Plummer film that I didn't like. Not that I've seen a lot, just The Sound of Music, Battle Of Britain, Dragnet and Waterloo perhaps, but he was consistently good in everything. You knew what you were getting when you saw that he was in a movie.
