over the xmas holidays there were a number of uninspiring music docs on the many cable tv channels, one of them was about abba and their top ten hits, one thing that did make my ears prick up was that when benny and bijorn wrote their eurovision winning song 'waterloo' they were inspired by 'see my baby jive ' by wizzard. slightly tenuous link i know, but still an elo link..

1973/74 was the height of glam and you can see why ABBA might have been inspired by Wizzard. Could you imagine Roy doing eurovision though? Nah...
