Good read, interesting to see that Bev has kept a diary since 1977 so he can refer to it for his book (if it ever get's finished!) I wonder if he wrote in the diary the day he met me outside of the gig venue in Cannock I heard that Bev is dedicating a whole chapter to you....

In Bev's dairy that one memorable day he wrote -
Dear Diary,
Today I met the most amazing man in Cannock. A true fan who I know, knows the real ME! And he was so polite with an engaging smile. Helps make these gigs worth while. I didn't get his name, so I'll just call him me "Cannock Mate".
My damn bunions came back, been soaking me foots while writing this.
Love Bevey
In his book Bev includes this after that paragraph -
So, if you happen to have picked up this humble memoir, just know that I've not forgotten you and hope we meet again me Cannock Mate!

In Bev's dairy that one memorable day he wrote - Bev has a dairy? So that's where the band recorded An Udder Heart Breaks, Moo Ya and Churn To Stone.

Best album that he's drummed on since OOTB? What about Xanadu? (love Joy's hair BTW)

It is "quite the statement"! Quill has some heavy hitters joining in, too. Looking forward to their Xmas show.

As my father fought in WW2, this is poignant...

My father was stationed in England and Paris. I've a WWII map of the UK from that time. Nothing special, but when I booked a tour there late '70's, it helped.

Army. Hated it. Had nothing good to say about that time and made us promise to refuse the military funeral honors. The playing of "Taps", rifle detail, color guard and the burial flag presented to a living member. We gave him his wish.
