She's a beauty! I love it! Change the flags and it could be a Ninja ship!

Loving the 'spit', is it 1/72 scale? (one small point though, the propeller tips should be yellow) It is 1/72 scale, I’ve not got any yellow paint....yet, think I will need some for the Gnat I’ve got to build. I originally wanted to post a video of my own that I made as I attended this airshow but this vid is far better!

You’re done lots of detail on the pilot, look forward to more if you can find them.

Nice work, Timeblue! I agree as well how well painted the pilot is.

I remember the pilot took quite a while to paint, indeed the whole cockpit area did...

Even though you can never do justice to the immensity of the sound of them unless you're there in person I've seen XH558 many times now and she is (was) an immense aircraft. This was her touring around the UK in her farewell season. A true icon and an engineering marvel and showed just what the British could do back in the day...

Here’s my latest model, I went to Lidl yesterday and now have another three models in stock, they should last until spring time when hopefully lockdown will ease. I have the same Spitfire but doubt I could get mine to look as stunning as that! I also have a giant HMS Victory tucked away which I've been too afraid to begin because it seems aimed at the more advanced model-maker. My ambition was bigger than my confidence when I bought it. It's the instructions that I can't follow! They seem so complicated and vague. I can only hope that it's a case of once you do one kit you never need to read the instructions again.
