Live drum fills on '73 brunell university on the early stuff. The move live "sunshine help me" live at the marquee '68. Drum roll at the end of "across the border" ootb. Bevs light never really got to shine much on the E.L.O recorded stuff as he was having to overdub himself, so he had to keep it all simple. How E.L.O would have sounded so different if pro tools had bern out in '73/79! Bev is a very underestimated musician.

It'd have to be Secret Messages for me! Actually, I'd have to go with the last half of Hello My Old Friend - after years of playing to accompany an increasing number of drum machine parts, Bev was finally given a chance to let loose (and did he ever!), ironically on what Jeff Lynne intended to be ELO's swansong.

I was actually referring to the album itself , but man did you hit the nail on the head! : D

Jeff made every ELO album sound different . Face the Music was quite a heavy album and Bev's drumming was superb throughout, so that could be his finest hour. I do remember at Heartbeat 86 Bev had to improvise at the beginning of Don't bring me down,as Jeff had trouble with his guitar.
