Sorry to hear about the issues you have had with the Steve Hoffman Forum ShardEnder and helpless for what it’s worth this forum is totally independent and any posts and threads you post will not be hidden or deleted. I read that with great joy. Especially since I just had to experience that one of my messages was apparently not approved by the administrator and had been deleted. In it I had simply forwarded (very factual!) Shardender's statement that the thread has been moved to the off-topic section of the Hoffman message board for the reason that it can only be viewed by registered users. There were quite a few perplexing questions from users. Although I am sorry to leave the (sometimes very controversial) discussion behind me, I have no desire to be active in a forum where censorship is clearly taking place.

I just hope that Jeff's henchmen don't find fault with anything that Shardender writes about on here (that's if they read this forum...)

Following yet another period offline earlier, the thread has now been moved to the off-topic section of the Hoffman message board, which means it can only be viewed by registered users (despite remaining very much relevant to a music forum). Worst of all, it's almost certainly guaranteed to quickly fade into obscurity now because I've been restricted from contributing anything further to the discussion. In the eyes of Team Jeff, I'm regarded the face of The Bug Club, and this collective is now evidently regarded as a threat to potential revenue. Does this mean there are official releases coming soon, or did the powers that be just finally grow tired of being shown up by a group of connected, knowledgeable and enthusiastic fans? At this point, the only important thing is that I still have contact with my sources.
A moving stream of information That is floating on the wind The secrets never end And now they call, They sing, they play, they dance For you, from out of the blue, What can you do?

also I've seen some screenshots of a fan showing the Tracklist of the double acetate to Rob Caiger on twitter and Rob said that he had never seen that tracklist before That would be me. Cool!

Doesn't it sound a bit strange that in a forum where everyone adores Jeff's music and talks about his songs, people get banned for sharing links to Jeff's music? ok - that simplifies things a bit, but at the moment it seems kind of bizarre to me ...

I only read Steve Hoffman. I never post there. It seemed mega political to me. And I don't mean Republicans and Tories.

Rats! I just searched for it on there (the Hoffman thread) before coming here to see what the deal was! Usually it always turns up without me searching in my daily look there. I clicked 'Watch with email notifications' just now. I thought I had not noticed it for a couple of days during my usual browsing, but I had been fine-tuning on CD-RW the SM downloads. I fiddled with some of the tape drop-outs on the alternate title track. Have yet to listen on the stereo. Just the ones that were more noticeable and that I could see in the waveforms.

It's so ridiculous: This is what gort no. 1 wrote. The other gort confirmed that the thread remains in the OT area. Finally they patted each other on the back (they liked their postings).

It sounds like that thread needs SM as the soundtrack.
(Loser Gone Wild, Take Me On And On, Stranger, No Way Out, Danger Ahead, Endless Lies, Time After Time....)

What does "gort" stand for? I did not know that either. Someone enlightened me: "A gort is the humanoid robot in the 1951 film The Day the Earth Stood Still. It's also the name given by our host to the staff who keep an eye on these threads."

Rhetorical question. Thanks for the info.

I'd never heard of Steve Huffman or his forum until this thread. I guess I'm out of the loop?
