Has anyone ever noticed on the classic Jet album labels the spotlight beams can be different colours some are yellow and pink, some are yellow and white and other variations. For me my favourite is the Jet classic yellow on the singles. It was bright and really stood out, especially on the blue and purple vinyl editions. If it helps, you can see all the (so far found) UK album label variations here The labels of ELO UK Vinyl Issues through the years... Fascinating looking at all the UK variations (and slightly unsettling seeing ANWR on Jet or the regular UA label ). I'm not sure that the yellow and white beam version ever existed in the US, certainly none of mine have that label, not even Time... the only variation I've seen is a black and white Jet label on my Violinski album, not sure if they were all black and white or if it's just cos mine is a promo copy? The Jet label art seems to be smaller for the US, too, the spindle hole is always right where the two beams intersect.

I love the classic Jet label - you can spot it a mile off. Every time you see it framed from a distance on a wall you can guarantee it's an ELO record. The Harvest design is good too but it’s very 70s, very Move, very early ELO. Classic ELO needs more pizzazz! The United Artists label – Could anything be more dull?
