Nice. It's in great shape, too. What mag is this out of? It's from a UK based paper called 'Sounds' and this ad is from August 1977.

Two of my recent purchases, United Artists Golden Circle issues of Do Ya/Evil Woman and Livin' Thing/Strange Magic. I believe these are the only two records that were produced on that certain label? <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button><button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> Went to a record show today and digging through a large box crammed with 7's found Livin Thing on the Golden Circle label. When I read ELO on the label, I doubted the words.

These arrived yesterday.. I used to have those along with lots more in a collection I stored in the loft, they were all cut from Record Mirror which I had delivered weekly. I sold them as a job lot in eBay probably 20-25 years ago when ELO was just a memory and seemed no longer relevant. Horace Wimp you were an idiot I wish I’d kept them all

That's a shame but all the ones that I have are all easily available so if you want to replace them then it wouldn't be difficult. The DBMD one is from the Record Mirror, I bought the whole magazine as it was cheaper than just buying the single page advert, I paid £7.99 Inc p+p for it and I can sell other adverts from the paper if I wish.

I've been adding some new adornments to my walls lately... Love that last one, both for the bright colors and for the fact that my own "Big Night" was exactly 41 years from the day of the magazine it was published in! I also had this one custom printed at my work, super happy with how well it turned out.

The last poster is a beauty! Wonderful graphics. Reminiscent of a Works Progress Administration posters put out in 1935. I've always wondered what was whited out. Roy had left the band before this '72 fall tour.

Ah, thank you all - collecting posters is fun but for the time being I'm afraid I can't get many more, I'm starting to run low on wall space in my current place! BSJ, I'd just assumed that the "whited out" area was intentionally part of the design as the reflection on the glass of the lightbulb - would love to know what was there if I'm wrong though! (As a side note, I recently noticed that the merch flyer I have with my copy of Discovery has some areas which appear to be blacked out, is that the case for anyone else here?)

I keep all my posters in a A4 scrapbook with the intention to display them at some point. Obviously I couldn't show all of them so my idea would be to display say 3 or 4 then after a year or so change them around etc. We'll see...

Sorry Grroosss I can’t offer much help on the whited out area I don’t have that poster but I did check out three other collections and theirs is also whited out. That’s a good idea of time blues to hang a number up and change them around every so often, means you could still buy a few in the future. Thanks for posting.
