LoL Forgot about the missing G on the B side. Bought a 12” copy of Doin that crazy think put it on the record player and thought this can’t be ELO,stopped the record player and double checked the label, just in case there was a mix up with the seller. Not Jeff’s best. Picture sleeve wasn’t great either. Quick question timeblue do you prefer this or Jungle

I always think that 'Doin' That Crazy Thing' and 'Goin' Down To Rio' as Jeffs 'Bowie In Berlin' period. Lot's of infuences in there (S Wonder,Climax Blues Band,Wild Cherry....) it was an experimental stage and totally un ELO but he wanted to do it so fair play to him. Not for me but hey! ...a fore runner to Discovery in terms of funky disco rhythms?

You gave a relatively diplomatic answer (or more like one which doesn't compromise you) so I won't run after you.

Put it this way, The Battle Of Marston Moor ranks alongside Hello My Old Friend compared with those two songs....

Ok, ok... if that's what you so badly want, and you keep insisting... ...but I have to warn you, I've been told that when someone disses a song I like my face transforms a bit. I haven't watched myself in the mirror under those circumstances, maybe it reflects some anger, maybe I get a frown... anyway, how bad can it be? ...so, you were saying about "Jungle"? How low does it rank? Come here, tell me!
