Will the farm animals be keeping you both company, Horace?

That is the single most adorable snow pic yet, look at the rabbit! And the fact that both HW and Mrs Wimp have busty substances just makes it even better, a million out of ten

Hope my beloved BSJ isn't in the firing line for this mega storm that's due to hit the US, sounds like a nasty one

Oh noooooo..... your one and only is not even close to this foul weather! Thank you for asking. tk6 and I were just talking about this. Hurricane-force winds! I found this quote from the mayor: Mayor Bill de Blasio warned. He urged New Yorkers to go home and stay there, adding: "People have to make smart decisions from this point on." Meaning - we can't help you if you do something stupid. You are screwed! Feel very, very sorry and concerned for them.

Normally it's the other way round, BSJ. Governments say "we are sure if we leave you alone you are going to do stupid things against your own interests, so thank God we are here to protect you from yourself (the way a wolf can protect a lamb, of course)...". So, as I see it, a mayor saying that people should care for themselves is quite a progress...
In any case, let's hope the storm takes it easy on the cities and towns on it's way. As my friend Buttler says, this tendency of extreme weather events is quite worrying.

To a point. Our Govie is saying, this is a situation where if you do something stupid, as much as we want to, we really, really cannot help you!!!

I think the storm was downgraded from a hurricane to a winter storm before it hit, pleased to see BSJ was spared though because a winter storm is probably best avoided anyway. My ridiculous Auntie Doreen rang up my mother in a panic asking her to take her shopping really early because she'd seen it all on telly and convinced herself the storm was going to hit South Wales. The media here really love to try and scare us about weather; just this morning ITV were bleating about a Level 2 Weather Warning about supposed -13 degree cold in the next few days which would be a danger to health. Switched to BBC and their forecast for the next few days had temperatures at 0 degrees in the south and about -4 in the north of Scotland where it's always like that in winter. It's as if the media imagine that weather chaos will actually happen if they say it often enough, bah!

Weather chaos is the perfect term unomusette. I don't watch the news. Don't need to when everyone, like your aunt, is on a panic trip talking about nothing else. Three inches of snow is NOT the foot ya'll threated we'd have, causing food hoarding and needless change of plans. We're next - I can feel it in me arthritic knees. Oh, that isn't a pic of damaged knees? Does my knees good looking at this.

At least the US manages to cope with a bit of snow, round here we get about an inch of it, or even a bit of a hard frost, and everything is disrupted. But it is a good chance to moan and grumble, which we Brits do really well Edit: Shouldn't that lad have a nice warm jumper on?

Well lookie here! Lord Dame Jeff, Genius did a pop in just in time to help tk6 shovel! Is he happy!? What do you think?
Attachment Deleted
Little does Damey know that this is his first shoveling-out of many! tk6 has already done 2, and the real storm has just started!

You still on this section? Get a move on Jeff, Genius! Over a foot of snow is expected and already 6 inches have fallen! We don't want to have to get a St Barnard to find you, because your favorite Ninja's will have nothing, I repeat, NOTHING to do with snow.
