Bought for my wife and me two tickets for hamburg, exactly the same two seats as two years ago...only difference: instead of 106,25 € it's 149,50 € now for each ticket! I had floor seats both times. I was further back in 2019 than in 2018 but the tickets were more expensive, and there was a surcharge for having a seat on the aisle! We had floor seats both times as well. If I ever get another chance to see him it will either be up front $$$$$$ or from the side. No more standing behind NBA players or drunken people with phone in one hand and a beer in the other reaching for the sky like they are being held up. Nashville was better than Houston in that respect, the fans were less rowdy.

Yup. The main reasons why we sit up front.

France & Switzerland have temporarily banned large indoor public gatherings (defined as more than 5000 people) to deter spread of the Covid 19 virus. I'm not sure if this applies to all events. Is there an ELO exception? worst case - could result in cancellation or postponement of tour dates on 2nd thought, I guess that's not really the "worst case" is it? hopefully the virus fades away over the Summer but I read up on the 2009 Swine Flu pandemic - it lasted about a year thankfully it was not particularly dangerous so daily life wasn't disrupted by nearly as much as what this bug is causing www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-51690657

I'm surprised he has pulled the plug so early, with almost 5 months to go, I was hoping that it might still go ahead, what a washout this year is turning out to be.

Not unexpected but sad the dates haven’t been rescheduled.

Yes, perhaps not a massive surprise but a lack of rescheduled dates is troubling. Unlike so many other artists, Jeff has all but disappeared from the public spotlight during the pandemic. Should we be concerned, I wonder?

I was expecting this. But there may be an announcement to reschedule. The people I feel sorry for are those that haven’t got to see him yet. I know how I felt when the first Dublin concert was cancelled. At least that was rescheduled very quickly. Here’s hoping his team come up with something soon and we all get to see them early 2021.

This was obvious. Football events are scheduled to be behind close doors for the rest of the year throughout Europe, assuming they re-start. It was unthinkable that we 15,000 fans were going to be allowed to gather together to see Jeff. Moreover, I'm not surprised about the non re-scheduling; this was a tour involving several countries and nobody knows what are the conditions that each one is going to state to enter and leave the borders in the near future. I had to travel from Spain to Amsterdam to see Jeff this time...so I am sad because of missing the chance to see my hero "One more time"....but also relieved by the end of the suspense. Hope Jeff takes all this to stay at home and create a new and better album!!

Jeff has always kept a low profile so I’m not surprised we haven’t seen any direct messages on social media from him. But I was thinking he’s lucky enough to have a home recording studio at Bungalow palace. He also said he had hundreds of songs stored away on cassettes. So could he not weave his magic on even one song and release it for streaming by his fans. It would be a great way of keeping the ELO band wagon rolling in 2020.

I know everyone who had intentions of going are disappointed and understandably so. I feel relieved however because of the stress Jeff would have been under to help make sure everyone was protected due to the virus. Jeff being 72, though seemingly healthy is a major concern.
