Some perennials are making themselves known.
No clue what the next plants are, but we can count on them showing up every year for over 15 years, or so. They grow large.
This one produces flowers.
Monks Hood back right. No clue name of purple.
I do think this is a Sedum. Grows tall with large flowers that bees go mad for.
We have two roses bush's probably over 40 years old. Here is one of them. I prune them down in the fall. Seems to cycle the years on how well they bloom. They'll grow and bloom beautifully a year or two, and then we need to wait a few for this to happen again.
and of course we have lots o' hosta's through out the yard
But the big excitement is the two crows who built a nest in a nearby tree. We get a big kick when they fly down for peanuts.
These were taken yesterday. Brrrr...... today it's in the 50's. Balmy.
Practicing social distancing...
And a female red-belly woodpecker! She has a mate. Hoping for baby's!

Practicing social distancing... Nooo, don't tell me you have those cute squirrels in your garden! Lucky Dude, they are adorable! Is that food that you threw to the crow? Nice, Dude! The roses have 40 years??? Damn, they are older than me! Now I'd like to see that garden in full bloom in a few months.

Yup, we throw peanuts out for the squirrels, blue jays, black birds, and crows. Also have feeders.

How about you, queenofthehours? Do you have any beautiful flowers in your garden you'd like to share with us? And you, Timeblue?

How about you, queenofthehours ? Do you have any beautiful flowers in your garden you'd like to share with us? And you, Timeblue ? The garden is a work in progress where the only flowers seem to be dandelions. I'll see what I can do but I'll have nothing pretty to show.

Well, in both cases, we can wait. In Timeblue's case, until he has his laptop back and functional; and in queenofthehours ' case, until the work in progress yields results.

Extremely cute, BSJ. On te second picture you don't even know there's a squirrel or any other animal behind that, you just see some random piece of fur in the garden.
