Snowshoes was remarkably good looking! He seems to have had a small scar in one of his ears, didn't he (or was it a "she")? Interesting to see those massive power outlets in the background. Ah, you've noticed the little fold in his ear? Being a first time cat-servant, I was a bit worried when I noticed that - had he cut himself? Then I looked at the other ear and saw it was shaped exactly the same. Some kits just have a little "pocket" in their ears, it seems. The power outlets - that was just the heater! But it does look as if we could have invited a certain favourite band around for a private concert. They could have played "Kit's Over", "Paw Boy" and "Whiskers In The Night".

I accept your challenge Helmut83 and offer up the following pictures, even though the sun was out it is a very cold wind today so you don’t know what I had to go through to get these. As it’s early spring here not many flowers are in bloom but I’ve done my best. Be aware this is a rose free zone. Bluebell one of my Mum’s favourite flowers. Tulips Forget me nots A plant General back garden view No submarines no plastic flowers, but in this case we have plastic flowers. Fish waiting to be fed. Front garden. This time of year the best things in the garden, conservatory and forum hot tub. I nominate eloneen to give us some pictures of her lockdown garden.

I have a very large garden but my idea of a nice garden is keeping the grass and weeds short. I have some nice views from my house but sadly my garden consists of trees and grass. Wish I had your green fingers Horace. Will take some shots of the views around my home and post them.

Horacewimp You're joking, right? We really have no garden...We have a vast expanse of ....grass in the back yard, a small lawn, some nominal (seasonally) flowering shrubbery and a skinny tree or two in front of the house, and a decent assortment of non-flowering houseplants inside. We do have the little cactus collection in the dining room. Hubby is trying to grow tomatoes and some spices in large pots on our balcony. There really is nothing to see here. Sorry! When I dig myself out from my miserable virtual workload (maybe over the weekend?) I'll post some pics as proof. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy everyone else's green thumbs and gorgeous photos!

Bah, don't complain, any photographer worth his salt is willing to bear a little cold in order to get a few good pics. Take the good: I gave you an excuse to break the quarantine and get out of your home. Fantastic pictures, Horacewimp. When I visited your home it was this time of the year (just a week earlier) and I was impressed by your garden so even though it might not be the full blosson time yet I knew you'd be able to show us a few beautiful flowers. The tulips are stunning, and I love those forget me nots (what a name!). The plant on the second photo and the one with the long leaves and white flowers look a bit like marijuana plants. We'd need another nomination, not sure if it's Horacewimp or eloneen who should do it.

Horacewimp Is the second photo a variety of red maple? It looks a lot like a memorial tree we once planted years ago to honor a loved one we had lost.

Fantastic photos Helmut83 and Horacewimp, how strange to see the hot tub empty when it's usually crammed with merry makers. Love the kitties and the way the orange butterfly seemed to be following Helmut83 around
