All of us have taken a few fantastic pictures, be it by talent to capture one moment or by sheer luck. You can share yours on this thread.
The idea is to post one picture at a time, not throw a cartload of pictures onto the thread, so we can appreciate -and eventually comment- on them one by one. Also, not just good pictures, but the very best we have, those which we consider to be in our top 5 ever. An epigraphe about the place and situation is not required but would be appreciated. Come on, show us your masterpieces!

Take it easy, guys, don't kill each other, there's time for everyone! Well, I thought a few would be interested, but before putting the thread down I'm going to share one of mine to see if anyone's inner photographer gets competitive:

What a fab photo, Helmut83 , beautiful background and composition. I'm a bit embarrassed to share this photo, because, as you can see, it's become old and worn over the years. But it is much loved. And I still consider it the very best shot I ever got of my Snowshoes. (Taken back in the '80s, when we had ye olde cameras, before the digital age.) My first kitten had only been living with me for a few days when I got the camera out to try to capture his beauty. Being curious, like all kits, he walked right up to me to inquire about what I was doing. As I pressed the button, I thought, he's come much too close, this will be a disaster... But luck was on my side!

Thanks, vlogdance bach! And what a beautiful picture yours is, Snowshoes was remarkably good looking! He seems to have had a small scar in one of his ears, didn't he (or was it a "she")? Interesting to see those massive power outlets in the background.

This is one of my favourite shots I've taken, it was back in 1974 of the Victoria Falls in Zambia. Despite me only been eleven years old I took the best picture of all our family.

Amazing pic Horacewimp! I love seeing those very old pics, even though they are worse compared to the pictures nowadays they have a certain magic to them, hard to describe (same as Vlog's). Do the Victoria falls always have such a big torrent or you were lucky to catch the Zambezi very loaded after a heavy rainfall? I know Iguazu Falls (our mega falls) can vary a lot according to the torrent of the river. BSJ, beautiful place (well, by daytime at least... I'm sure it wouldn't look so pretty at night), I love how the back part of the mausoleum inserts itself into the hill behind it.

I know Iguazu Falls (our mega falls) can vary a lot according to the torrent of the river. The simple answer is I don’t know 🤷♂️, there certainly hadn’t been any heavy rainfall locally we never saw any while we were there but I guess it was possible there had been upstream.

I see. On the picture it looks spectacularly loaded, but maybe it's always like that.

Apparently it does have the world's largest sheet of falling water, whatever that means.

Helmut83 , love to have been able to go inside. Fairly certain those colored pillars are marble. "Levi Tucker Scofield (originally Schofield) (1842–1917) was a prominent Cleveland, Ohio architect and sculptor, and a native of the city. He served in the American Civil War and designed many public buildings and several monuments during his career." Also a few prisons.

Apparently it does have the world's largest sheet of falling water, whatever that means. Whatever that means, it still sounds better than the largest shit of falling water. I know that out of the 3 big falls of the world, Victoria are the highest, Iguazú the widest and Niagara has the largest flow rate.

Interesting, BSJ. Even before knowing it you could see that it wasn't just anyone's grave. I wonder why they used his original surname on the mausoleum instead of the one he had when he died.
