Hi all! I once read on this very forum about the discussion of how would one go about making Hello My Old Friend into a single edit? Well I am not sure myself but I set out to try and came up with this, only clocking at 5:32. I personally don't feel that the song could get any shorter without sacrificing too much that in turn make it sound incomplete. But I have heard some songs on the radio run for similar length, but usually if they are of some sort of cultural significance. Perhaps if this was be released as ELO's swan song (assuming the double album worked out) then perhaps the 5:32 mark would've been acceptable play time. Being the ELO family we are, I would love your feedback.
Disappointed, though, that you didn't get it down to 41 seconds
After some much-needed inspiration, tremblinwilbury, I have followed your advice and have delivered. Here is Hello My Old Friend in 41 seconds! Now it's be perfect for the radio like it's predecessor, After All!

Horacewimp: We are all good thanks, just wishing I could go on a foreign holiday, it’s just not worth the risk with Covid and the possibility of a 14 day quarantine, we may do some short breaks in the U.K.
