Sounds like these songs go back a while,I hope we get to hear them too. What I'd hate to see is Jeff reviewing these songs then doing a re take on them and then Jeff wiping the tapes...,we live in hope!

I think I can get hold of one if he'll let me help sort them out.

How horrible it'd be if he used a crappy one and it ate a tape. Jeff please Handle With Care!

No cassette player? No problem. Jeff is welcome to use mine—my record player has built in cassette and CD players so really, there’s no excuse not to hear these songs, whatever format they be... smileys-whistling-823718

As in the case of the John Lennon demo 'Free As A Bird' the tapes should be given to a top producer who will clean them up and,oh hang on....

How horrible it'd be if he used a crappy one and it ate a tape. Jeff please Handle With Care! Oh, those times! It has happened to me so many times over! Sometimes you were able to extract the tape, there was always some damage but at times it was limited to a couple of seconds of shaky sound (still the song was never going to be 100% OK again). Other times it was such a mess that you had to throw away a considerable amount of the tape and then link the good parts with... well, tape, the sticky type. And other times the damage was so big you had to throw the whole thing away. I'm not nostalgic, leave me with my WMAs and MP3 that never get stuck in any player.
