It's got to be Petty hasn't it? A music match made in heaven.

Randy Newman. I've enjoyed a lot of his songs.
Especially his Story of a Rock 'n' Roll Band!

I think the worst artist from the last poll might be better than the best from this one. Incredibly uneven pools.
Everyone will vote for Tom Petty, who in my opinion is terribly overrated and owes his success to great pumping-up from the American records industry machinery, so I'll go for Unomusette's fellow countryman Dave Edmunds.

Petty probably win. So, I am going to give Ringo a fighting chance.

This is the worst possible round for me, as i love everything Tom Petty and Dave Edmunds have recorded...I hoped both would make it to the final, as both deserve it. And both did fantastic songs written or produced by Jeff. I think most will vote for Tom, so i vote for the great Dave Edmunds!

I'm pretty sure, if asked, Jeff would vote for Del Shannon.
I'm not sure of my favourite. Will have to think about this one.

I'm not sure of my favourite. Will have to think about this one. Yeah, I think it is very likely. He has said on a few occasions Shannon was the first artist he really admired, even before Roy Orbison or the Beatles.
