Hux is finishing up a new album, so it's kind of funny to see this old promo pop up on YT. Maybe he took a look at it because he's thinking about how to promote the new one? He's got a gig planned for early December - album release party???

Always look forward to his material outside of The Orchestra.

P Hux has fantastic music on each of his albums. I supported his Thank You Bethesda album, and enjoy his unique take on music and life. I even have a Kiss the Monster magnet on my refrigerator!

No, but the set list had “MBS” written twice so the drummer had to stop and ask “now which one are we doing next?”. I think Black Sky will be one of the highlights from the new album. Quite different from Blue Sky.

the title track from Parthenon's last album the CD liner notes mention cicada sounds for this song, but I thought he must mean "cicadas" as in shakers or a rasp or some other percussion instrument used to simulate a cicada like rhythm
but no, Hux did a New Year's Day radio show talking up his next album and when they played this song, the DJ asked about the cicada sound turns out they were particularly loud during Parthenon's vacation to Greece and he recorded the sound for this song imagine yourself on a Greek Isle with the waves lapping and the insects humming

Parthenon’s Kickstarter campaign started today. You can pre-order the new P Hux album, “As Good as Advertised”. Or if you’ve recently won the lottery, you can send P Hux all over the world.

I was an executive producer on his last cd, and will get around to supporting this also. He has many excellent songs, and not always the sugary melodies.

Parthenon hit his Kickstarter goal on the first day and 2 people backed him at the top "All Over the World" level. P Hux may not have a huge following, but his fans are all in.

while waiting for the new P Hux album, I found his contribution to a Todd Rundgren tribute album. I noticed that Parthenon's mentor, Don Dixon, also has a song on the album.
