Ah, great song, orioles70, thanks for posting. But does he not sing "angels guide my every move" and " Pesty knows that Joe don't lie" (a reference to another character in the cartoon strip?) If not, blame my Welsh ears.

vlogdance - you are probably right I got out the liner notes from my CD, but there are no lyrics. So that's just my Bawlmer ears trying to make sense out of it. When I was looking for the lyrics on-line I did come across a Bazooka Joe story told by Parthenon's friend and high school bandmate, Matt Barrett. www.greektravel.com/stories/bazookajoe.htm

Hux has a DC area gig coming up in December and he's teasing a new album. Hmm - not sure if that means new material or the long awaited Greatest Hits album. Alternatively known as "songs my brothers say don't suck".
in the meantime, here's a Breaking Bad style video that Hux did for his Thank You Bethesda album - starring Hux, his wife Helle and drummer Ricky Wise

a look into how songs come together Hux was hired to write a theme song for a children's audio book. Bryan Cranston is one of the voice actors - perhaps explains the inspiration for doing the "Breaking Bad" style video on Thank You Bethesda? Before the pandemic, Hux had Ken Stringfellow from the Posies over and threw an impromptu house concert. 13 from Big Star

Hux is working up new songs and I get to see him play next month Here's what Powerpopaholic had to say about a song from his last album. <<the mellow “Song for James,” written for his daughter Fiona James Huxley, which is like a lost Eagles song. I definitely hear some Joe Walsh influences in the guitar solo.>>

Hux may be 65, but he not afraid to try yodeling like Thijs van Leer circa 1971. Fun gig last night in Vienna (Virginia). Willie Ray Honeycutt even made an appearance - have to see if I can find a way to upload that. www.facebook.com/helle.huxley/videos/5008677935811320

there's snow on the ground, but YouTube queued up this unexpected Summer festival Better than Good by P Hux - but why did they choose that song? there's Parthenon, making a brief appearance about the 2:18 mark, followed by ... the Blues Brothers?

Hux occasionaly puts guitar lesson videos on YouTube and does in person lessons. I wonder how many kids have learned from him?
