Dire Straits Romeo and Juliet and Kate Bush Hounds of Love move on to live another day.
For your weekend listening I give you the following, you can vote for TWO songs and the top two will move into the next round.

I Don't Like Mondays. There's a song that's criminally underrated.

BR,good song if a little overplayed, and Bob can be a little annoying at times. JD is a seminal song but again overplayed. Sparks song is a cracker imo and rarely heard.EC is a classic and brings back great memories so for me its Sparks and EC.

Horace - guess I shouldn't be surprised, but you've got good taste in music!
that version of Don't Like Mondays wouldn't play for me, here's one that may do better for some
yes, I voted for it along with Elvis Costello

Sparks and Elvis C for me, pretty much the same reasons as Timeblue

I've also gone for Elvis C - that's a song I always want to listen to right through to the end. And Sparks, another good band. Just hope all concerned never found out they made it into Woolies' bargain bin.

I spent about 15 minutes looking through LPs at a vintage record store in Burlington, Vermont last week. They had just relocated from a bigger and better located space. A guy was asking the owner if he wanted to buy any more inventory. A big NO. Vinyl has had a bit of a comeback, but it's tough to make a living selling only records.
Lots of $1 albums for sale if @horacewimp wants to expand his bargain collection.
(I should add that the used ELO albums were going for $20 and up - think they would have been much cheaper 5 years ago before Jeff began touring again)

Unfortunately, the lyrics to I Don't Like Mondays are still relevant in 2019.
