Helmut83I assure you, I do not! Of course not, I wouldn't expect you to stop doing what you do. Sometimes it's good to give us idealists a reality check. Mr. Bluebird and I balance out well, because he tends to see the worst intentions of people first, haha! We keep each other grounded. I can believe that. For example, the current state of the world and politics does make it difficult for me to keep my idealism. It has me quite depressed, in all honesty. Times like these are when I especially find comfort in music.

I'm still blown away by the fact that Roy Orbison was only 52 when he died in 1988. To put that into some kind of perspective, Dave Matthews, Billy Corgan, Ben Folds, and Sinead O'Connor are all 52 years old.

Phew, good to know you don't do that! Only hopeless case loons play with Playmobils imagining the bearded one is Jeff. Note: I had once made an ELO representation with Playmobils to participate in a contest that BSJ and Unomusette had organized, and of course Jeff was the bearded one (all members were there). The pictures were lost when Postimage (the hosting site where I had uploaded the images) closed (1) so there's no proof that the loon who plays with Playmobils imagining they are ELO is me. (1) Unless Horacewimp has a way to recover them? Changing .org for .cc didn't work. Mr Biuebird would do well in my country. That's how you have to behave here: everyone is your enemy until they prove otherwise.

I’ve had a look at that thread Helmut83 and see you’ve tried the .cc trick and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried the links directly and it goes to the postimage site but says they are unavailable, don’t know why maybe they got deleted when they had the server issue a little time back

They could have sent a couple of emails before to warn us users that they were going to close so we could rescue our photos.

I’ve not got an account with them so they haven’t my email address I just use them as and when required. I tried changing the the to https and a few other things like the server id but to no avail. Have you an account if so when you sign in are they not there?

I guess what happened is this: before I had an account on Postimage (the site is up and working, I thought it wasn't) I uploaded pictures with no user (you were allowed to do that). Then they probably deleted all pictures uploaded by anonymous users and there went the ones of the playmobils. The pictures I uploaded while logged in to my account are still there.

we lost another of Jeff's contemporaries
RIP Eddie Money - he had been battling complications due to esophageal cancer
Eddie Money, a onetime police officer trainee who sang his way to pop-rock stardom in the late 1970s with songs such as “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Baby Hold On,” then became a humorous, self-deprecating staple of MTV while battling drug and alcohol abuse, died Sept. 13 in Los Angeles. He was 70.
