I joked about pouring beer over my breakfast cereal. But here's a better way to have breakfast cereal beer. 7 Brothers Brewing in Manchester, England is using leftover cereal to brew beer. Flakes that were overcooked or not quite the right size get turned into beer. For the past seven months, Seven Brothers has been using breakfast cereal to make beer. The aim of the venture is nobler than the inevitable “beer for breakfast” jokes might suggest: namely, to address — even in a small way — the global issue of food waste and its effect on climate change. In June, the brewery released two more beers made with Kellogg’s cereals: a pale ale from Rice Krispies and a dark stout that owes its chocolate flavor to Coco Pops. It's not available outside of Britain, so it will be up to the UK forum members to give this a taste test. www.nytimes.com/2019/07/03/business/media/beer-cereal-food-waste.html?action=click&module=Editors%20Picks&pgtype=Homepage

Pleased to see Horacewimp has been diligently researching continental culture, it must have been quite the task but you forced yourself through it What an interesting idea to make beer from breakfast cereal especially the chocolate one - bring it on!

The car on the label looks like a Jeep to me. Dave says it reminds him of a Jeep Wagner. If so, they were made right here in the wilds of Toledo, Ohio!
