Mines not turned up yet, hopefully later today. I’ve seen reports that Messages jumps on a lot of the copies. Have you purchased a turntable yet Timeblue ?

I'm not planning on opening it so I guess I'll never know! I haven't got a turntable yet but hoping to have the conservatory back soon (Mrs T is a childminder and that's her room) If I do, then a system will go in there as well as a BIG TV!

Are you not tempted to open the shrink wrap on one side and take a quick look at the colour and hold it up to the light, even if it is only once. I couldn’t resist it. But hey I hope you both enjoy them whatever you decide to do.

Number 714 I will give it a spin tomorrow. There’s a large black mark in the vinyl but I’m not going to send it back, poor quality control.

That’s a shame Horace. I wonder is there more like this. That’s the down side of Ltd editions not easy to exchange them. On the plus side at least you got a copy....

I'm tempted to open the album but since I can't play it, I'll leave it sealed I think..

Showing my age here but I remember if I had a record that skipped I would balance some coins on the record arm to keep it weighed down as it played. It worked if I remember right. Can’t imagine it was great for the vinyl though.

I am feeling extremely sick with envy. The orange is beautiful. I wanted the Queen double blue vinyl LP but missed out (it seems double blue vinyl is something that brings out strange feelings in people).
The OMD LP is a gorgeous colour, it's too bad about the black mark, Horacewimp . I don't know if I'm more appalled at the lack of quality control or the fact that you opened it! I bought a few coloured Queen LPs last year from HMV and they remain firmly sealed - it's the only mint vinyl I have (aside from my copy of 'Video!' which was mint until I played it ).

I’m of the opinion, open them up and play them and enjoy the music. When you are gone you won’t care if you kept them sealed or not

What I don't get is, I ordered this disc towards the end before stocks ran out (literally hours later) but the number is 24?
