Mr. Eloneen says he'll give up beer for 6 months and curry forever. (He hates Indian food and only drinks about 6 beers a year! )

Eat better, lose weight..the usual. I walk a lot during warm weather, but with winter here, it's tough to get out there and motivated when it's twenty degrees.
Actually, eating bad food is the only real vice I have. I drink a little bit now and then, and partake in herbal pleasures, but other than that I'm ok.

Chippa FYI: My two younger brothers and I all have roughly the same weight loss goal: lose about 10-15 pounds. We're making a bet to lose it in three months and then maintain that until next January. We plan to keep each other accountable for maintaining it (which has been difficult for all of us) with quarterly reporting, i.e, taking a picture while on the scale every three months this year, showing the current weight and a newspaper from that date to keep us all honest. The two of them are INCREDIBLY competitive with each other, and I will not be outdone by my YOUNGER brothers , especially since the bet was my idea! We're still working out the nominal financial arrangements ($20 to start with, probably) and some of the rest of the rules, but I think it will be a fun way to keep us all motivated. For us at least, it's about saving face as much as losing weight.

Last year I forgave myself and had a year off...this year I am going for it. Writing these down, i'm sure some will slip but hey rather swing and miss than not swing at all. Target for year : New Album worth of material recorded / released online with SirenBlue (our first recorded release in 15 years). Start the running programme that will take me toward completing 1/2 marathon sometime this year. Q1 Goals January - Detox Month ... Alcohol free, Bread free, refined-sugar free February - Vegetarian Month. March - Caffine-Free Month (this will be my hardest challenge as I have never even attempted this.. the jan/feb ones I have carried through from Jan through to April previously) Q2 - review Q1

Try to create for myself as many enjoyable moment as possible, indulge myself whenever I can, do as few unpleasant things as possible, sacrifice myself as little as possible and live a hedonistic life as much as is reasonably possible.

Well, tell me when you find someone who is getting younger (and no, Benjamin Button doesn't count). No, actually I'm in a good mood today. It's an unusually fresh and dry day for January in Buenos Aires so life is livable. The crazy end of the 2018 is over and I'm finally on holidays so everything's fine. Maybe my comment came across as a sort of rant? How about you, BSJ ? How much are you willing to sacrifice yourself in 2019 (other than waking up before 9:30)? Will you be shoveling your neighbour's snow as well? Or maybe let the kids across the street play in your lawn?

We shovel a path for our postlady across our lawn to the next house, I do the neighbors. Kids! What kids? God forbid their parents let them play outside. Down the block, the other side of the street there are 3 of them that are let loose in the wild, but they aren't allowed to cross the street. Arthur, who is around 8 rides his bike up and down the block. I feel sorry for him. No buddy to get in trouble with. I do keep an eye on him because once in a while mom is out yelling for him when he disappears. He's usually has gone up a drive out of sight. Maybe talking to one of the old boys.
Rant? It sounded you had a hard year.
