For ELO Part II fans, the Orchestra is giving it one more go in 2019. Kind of interesting that they are choosing to tour at the same time as Jeff. Obviously, much smaller venues and towns. They start in Tel Aviv, then do a cruise in the Bahamas. Several towns on the East Coast of US but also Switzerland and Washington state. Things I don't know about the tour: ticket prices, which band members will be playing, set list. Here's a link. www.parthenonhuxley.com/shows

I thought that cruise The Orchestra is playing on looked familiar. Procol Harum are on it too along with Justin Hayward, Al Stewart and Colin Blunstone.

my copy of No Rewind came in the mail today
I could only find used copies on Amazon - for high prices but got one from Parthenonhuxley.com $20 for an autographed copy
guess my ELO and related music collection is complete - until Jeff's new album comes out

The concert in Carrboro would be very easy for me to attend, but it's not The Orchestra. And it was quite a bummer that the June concert was a private event. We'll see...After ELO in Atlanta this week, and then A New World Record in Virginia in September, we'll see if The Orchestra concert in Annapolis in October is doable.

I've been listening to the songs that P Hux has on his web site. One of them is called "Dino's Laughing Now" and is from 1995 - so before Bev recruited him to join ELO Part II. couple of lyrics in the song show how far back his ELO influence goes - to 1971 when he was a 15 year old kid living in Greece and listening to whatever rock tunes he could get his hands on << well my friend Dino's dead, but it feels like a joke I see him in my head, I hear the the words he spoke when we were 15 listening to records by the Move Dino's laughing now, I can tell somehow well it's a sad affair but it doesn't bring me down >> www.parthenonhuxley.com/music

more dates for The Orchestra - looks like they had better invest in some winter parkas
late Fall and Winter dates in Wisconsin, Finland and Connecticut before heading down to Florida for a thaw
