We moved into a house that was owned by a friends Grandfather. He hangs out in the basement and we call him Grandpa Joe. When I’m doing laundry I can feel him – or someone in back of me. I always say Hello Grandpa Joe, wanna help out here?
One day hanging out in the basement I happened to look up at the stairs and saw legs from the knees down I saw a pair of cuffed pants and wing tip shoes. I guess Joe likes to dress up. We’re told that he spent a lot of time down there. Hubby has never seen or felt him.
A friend has a person that stands at the end of her bed at night. It comes and goes.

Great! Is Grandpa Joe a happy spirit? Must be, or you'd have exorcised him by now. My friend kept finding her cookery books had mysteriously disappeared from her kitchen and reappeared under her bed. She was quite spooked until her builder confessed he'd been lying on her bed reading them whilst she was out. Eww, worse than a ghost! I hope reading was all he was doing Luckily he wasn't the pervy type and she'd known him for years, otherwise I doubt he'd have 'fessed up.

We once stayed in a guest house in Wales and they claimed the bedroom was haunted, I didn't see or hear anything but had a restless nights sleep thinking about it. Now I know it was just Unomusette sneaking around outside on one of her visits to the lady in the local fish and chip shop

Laying in her bed!!?? WTF? Yes, but he really wasn't pervy, it was like having one of the three bears around. If you were cooking he was always interested, especially if he could stop what he was doing and ask you all about it. He hardly ever did any building work when he was on a job, but when he did it was really good and he was dead cheap. He took about two years on and off to build an extension for us. And he used to bring his son Mo along with him, who had a mysterious habit of using up all the toilet paper. He was like a soap opera all on his own

Just like in The Skeleton and the Roundabout *ghostly moans of hunger*

I was once startled awake by the seeming appearance of a lady in a bedroom once, and can't understand how it would have been a matter of dream imagery bleeding into consciousness since it lasted for around four to five seconds and was quite vivid.
Other than that... well, I once encountered a phantom version of a cookie I had just consumed mere minutes earlier. I ended up trying to eat it again but that was impossible.

Either you're pandering to the good, upstanding natures of several other forum members, or the two of us are inhabiting two completely different realities. I hadn't been dreaming of her that particular morning, to answer your question.

I have a sister that was born in Halloween. Halloween, Argentina. ... does she bear any resemblance to Lily Munster, by any chance?

In my country we are incredibly quick to adopt other people's festivities, Halloween included. You would be surprised to know how big the celebrations are for St. Patrick's day, even when there isn't much Irish blood more than a few surnames here and there. And no, my sister doesn't ressemble Lily Munster much. She's more kind of a witch. BTW, wasn't Lily Munster your avatar during some time?

Yes she was at one point... but used only for the best and most honorable of intentions. 'Here's hoping that your sister is "kind of a witch" in a good way . After all, it would be disturbing to learn that someone's sister rides broomsticks and can be damaged by water.
