I rather liked Drones, but then it did come after two more so-so albums. Simulation Theory is properly shaping up, although Dig Down and Something Human are bottom of the list for me. I do get what you mean about A Little Respect dillwyn , well spotted. To be fair if those are the two worst songs on the album things are really looking up as Muse have tended to include at least one song on recent offerings which are way below what they are capable of. I also think they are throwing way too much money into the videos recently, trumpeting about famous directors as if they are after an Oscar or something, although Pressure is a total hoot and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. Can't wait for the next part.... In the meantime I'll be preparing to empty my bank account as usual for next year's tour, it's going to be a proper spectacle, bring it on! |

The Dark Side is also heavily influenced by Darkshines from Origin of Symmetry I reckon. Still a belter though.

Ah, one of Chris's rare song contributions, it's not up there with Muse's better productions but when they used to play it live Matt would do such a lot of entertaining over-the-top headbanging and posing it was well worth it  |
