Good reminder, Queen. Here's another, though it's more melodic than scary.

Fan of this song made a clever video. How many movies can you spot? The Brain is my fav! There's a "little" something shown that Helmut83 will enjoy

Oh, my... are you talking about 3:01??? Thanks for the nightmares, BSJ! In any case, I've got to admit I've got this one well deserved after the photos of spiders I posted last week.

Cheeky BSJ! If there were another BSJ she would be after you with the spanking slipper. No, I don't think I recognized any, but you would be surprised to know how few movies I've watched in my life. When we were kids my family didn't have a lot of money (not that now they are millionaires either) and there was only one TV set which was in my parents' room, which meant my sisters and me rarely got to see any movies. Besides we spent half our lives in the country with no TV at all. So then at school and there were all the other kids commenting about movies and I had never seen any of them and felt kind of ashamed. As I grew up my parents bought more TVs but I never got the passion for watching movies. Most of them bore me too early into them and I don't have the patience to sit through all of them. So I'm really ignorant about movies, I haven't watched at least 90% of the all-time classics which everyone has watched. "Neverending Story" is one of a handful of exceptions to the rule.

Helmut83 , majority of the movies where made in the 50’s, maybe earlier. There were a few late Saturday afternoon programs that used spooky hosts introducing horror movies. There was one, a vampire, named Sir Graves Ghastly. Have a postcard he sent me somewhere. His show started in the early 60’s. He'd also have creepy sidekicks, like the Glob, (It was his face upside in the moon), and these sidekicks would sing real cheesy songs. They were sooooo bad, they were great! Looking back at the clips below, brought back those wonderful afternoons.

This is a brilliant Disney moment, although it probably scared some younger viewers.
Before this clip starts, our two heroes have been drinking water which, unknown to them, contained alcohol. They feel pleasantly tipsy, and then this starts happening...

I remember I got into trouble for making the class cry during Dumbo when I was allowed to bring in my VHS for everyone to watch when I was about 5.
Here's another spooky Procol Harum track -

Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty were obviously going full Phil Spector on this outstanding Christmas song. So much jangle!
