This is horrible. Not once does Jeff imply that there will be mud wrestling matches between Ms. Allen and Ms. Vela. Who would you go for?

Both at the same time, alternating every... oh wait, you mean who would I bet on? Ms. Allen, naturally. She's younger, physically bigger and has shorter hair that can't be so easily grabbed. What say you?

Hahaha... your imagination tends to fly fast, my friend.
Same as you, Chereene. I'm sure with those legs she can apply some strong tourniquets on her opponents to immobilize them, and if violin bows are allowed in the wrestling puddle she could give a good whacking even to men.
I wouldn't underestimate Vela's nails though...

To get back to the subject I reckon this points to a series of dates in large venues such as the O2. ................ Now back to the other subject I'd go with Chereene as well. I hereby nominate myself as referee.

I knew Craig Fruin was a nob! "The manager said no".....computer says naoooo! We also have to remember that unlike employment where your manager is there because they are appointed by the organisation, and you are all employees of the organisation, with artists like Jeff, they actually employ the manager themselves to look after their career, so surely could over-ride him?

This is also true....howde spike welcome on board to the craziest, off topic, passive aggressive, bunch of freaks to ever grace a forum. If we all ever meet up we'll get stociously drunk probably kill each other, cry and make up.all in the first 10 minutes and instinctively know not to say key phrases like the following. "Vela", "Fruin", "take that" (or any affiliated d**khead...I mean member...or "Evita". Anyway back to topic! I have just re read this and I have decided other than the "I'm a Brummie" none of the rest of this interview reads like Jeff actually being interviewed. All a tad fishy to me? Like the interviewer introduced himself, asked Jeff did he enjoy Hyde Pk and the pissed off into the sunset to make up his own questions and answers?

I’d never experienced the really deep emotional side of it, where people cry. Some of those songs have been around for 40 years, and they’re just going on.
Steppin out people......t'was the most emotional I've ever got since my kids were born.....na hang on it was more emotional! I can only imagine what it was like for Jeff to see the front of the crowd during that one! Waves of sniffling mess!

He doesn't seem to look at two different people at the same time anymore. Must have cost a bit though - probably all the money he saved on his tax avoidance attempt.

Hmmm....i can see i havent missed much in the moaning department...anyway....i came to post a couple of observations....one about moaning fans and the other about string sections... moaning fans...when i first said some of you were right whingers cos jeff didnt play the song you wanted to hear at hyde park someone said it was generally accepted that fans moan....funnily enough i happened upon a status quo page somewhere along the way soon after that and, there it was....fans comnplaining about some album or other and how good it was that they were back to the usual good stuff...well..there you go...so its true, die hard fans expect.... heres the coincidental that made me come and stick this up yer hooter.... ...back to status quo...who performed a gig at the roundhouse which was on the beeb the other week. i went on iplayer and listened to the interview they did...rick parfitt was talking about how different it was to play without all the electrics they are used to and how the arrangements had to change for many of their songs...anyway, he was yabbing on about the strings they were using for the gig and how good it sounded...he went on to say if they ever went on the road with this format they would have to take real strings and not replace them with synths as the sound was totally different....now that i found very interesting...considering jeff has recently said he would replace the strings on the road with synths....jeff being the real orchestra man and quo not exactly known for their massive string section on their albums...i do have to admit to disappointment in jeffs statement (though happy that he may go on the road of course)...anyway...thought i would post...

What I'm hoping (against hope) Is that if Jeff does play a number of gigs in the same place that that will give him the opportunity to use a real string section perhaps one resident in the city he's in (Birmingham Phil for eg) .Of course Quo would have to use real string if they toured 'cos this latest incarnation of them means they are playing "unplugged" and the last time I looked my synth wouldn't work unless I plugged it in!

Complaints about moaning and whining > instances of critical opinion or actual moaning
