Loving this interview, Chris is making Jeff feel really relaxed, the banter is great. Playing tracks from Nightriders, Chads and Idle Race...

I missed it! Did he say anything about a new album? Or what songs he'll play on Sunday?

Well, Now that Bev has pretty much said his piece I'm OK with it. He did have good intentions in mind but it's best for him to move on and do his own thing. ha ha ha...'move on'....very good....i hope you meant it...!! That was an unintended pun but it's good for him to get past his ELO days. Better now then later.

... don't worry about us, Unomusette will keep us under her control. Wait… that doesn’t read right.
Reads very well to me, my pretty As for Jeff hinting at more gigs, I think he'll say anything to shut Chris Evans up, he's pretty relentless. But my front room is available if he's serious.

More news about the concert: The musicians are going the be the same who played alongside Jeff November 12th 2013 at the Children In Need Rocks (see list below). Jeff's show will be 75 minutes long and he will play ELO's favourites (well, I'm sure we could have guessed that ). Richard Tandy - piano, vocoder Mike Stevens - guitar, keys and vocals Milton McDonald - guitar, vocals Donavan Hepburn - drums Bernie Smith - keys1 Marcus Byrne - keys2, Pro Tools programming Matt Round - bass Mick Wilson - percussion and vocals Mel Lewis - backing vocals Sharleen Linton - backing vocals Lincoln Jeane - backing vocals Chereene Allen - violin Well, I'm glad at least Richard is there, but I had hoped for someone else from the classic lineup and/or Woody.

I heard most of the Jeff thang on Chris Evans show but missed a little bit....it was interesting to hear Chris ask Jeff about his early days....but didnt ask anything about the Move...though i then came back in when California Man was playing (one of the best records....ever)....so Jeff wont mention the Move and Bev wont talk about ELO....seems like they need their heads knocking together....ahhh well....im off to Hyde Park tomorrow and I am soooooo looking forward to it...!!
