jefflynnenut, sorry to bother you again. I know you've been busy and we've been sending a lot of mails lately, but please check the last one I sent you (at 12:05 Argie time). It has a formal invitation for you to sing on one song we have made with Jim. (you have to save my ass, man!) Ok man I'll have a butchers when I can!

Jim "Earwig" It's cockney rhyming slang Jim, butchers hook (shortened to butchers) = Look Earwig is to listen (not actual rhyming slang just a cockney term)

Hey Guys, with the holidays upcoming and all, and me not being able to record "Gaylord Town" for a couple weeks from now, etc. let's plan for the release to be after the New Year. In the meantime, we have these songs in no particular order ready: 1) "Kennedy Drive" by jrmugz 2) "Autumn Delight" by jrmugz 3) "Por Suerte" by Helmut 4) "Raining in the Farm" - Electric Animal Orchestra 5) Across the Sea - bhabs 6) My Spring Rose - bhabs 7) Candid Assertion Blues - jrmugz 8) Kittycat Blues - jefflynnenut and then two songs in the works that will make it a complete CD of 10 songs: 9) "Growing", being finished by Helmut and JLN still? (Guys, let me know!) 10) "Gaylord Town" - all set in my mind, but can't record it for a couple weeks due to a bunch of things, and then will send it to Helmut for harmonica. So since we'll be firmly entrenched between Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays during that time, we'll just plan to release it in the heart of January. If there are any other songs I forgot to mention, or that are in the works that I am not aware of, just let me know! Thanks! Jim PS If anyone's heart is blown to complete smitherenes because they had had hopes of smooth jazz Christmas music playing to hot chocolate and the crackling blaze on the hearth of a cozy warm fire while their loved ones burst into tears of unspeakable joy at the mere site of the CD sticking out of their stocking hanging over the fireplace, then just let me know, and maybe we can work it in for a post-Thanksgiving pre-Christmas release. Guess it would be a good cranker for a New Year's Eve . Well anyways, if any strong objections to releasing it in January, just let me know.

If there are any other songs I forgot to mention, or that are in the works that I am not aware of, just let me know! I had sent you a very short song called "Loosenin' up" you seemed quite enthusiastic about. Do you think the quality of the recording is too shitty to include it like that? I'm OK with postponing the release of the blockbuster. That will give me time to take my electric guitar to calibration and when it's OK I'll use it to record another song I have, this one instrumental (you guys can breathe a sigh of relief ). Also, why instead of setting a date you don't just plan to release it when you have it finished? So if you have it finished by mid-December we can hear it already without having to wait just because we set up a date. After all, it's just three songs that we need to finish; it's not more than a couple of hours of "work". As for Growing, jefflynnenut has the ball now. PS: which key will you be recording "Gaylord town" in?

PS: which key will you be recording "Gaylord town" in? Thanks for all the feedback and scoops Helmut (though I did order the mint chocolate chip, to be sure). OK, yes, my apologies I forgot to put "Loosenin' Up", a very cool little instrumental piece that might make a good kick-off track for the CD. As for the key of Gaylord Town, it starts and ends with a G-chord, and I want to say the C chord. 1/2 a step up from the recording I sent you. OK, will do we can release it once its ready, which will probably be in early December sometime. OK, so the current list of songs in no order are: 1) "Kennedy Drive" by jrmugz 2) "Autumn Delight" by jrmugz 3) "Por Suerte" by Helmut 4) "Raining in the Farm" by Electric Animal Orchestra 5) "Across the Sea" by bhabs 6) "My Spring Rose" by bhabs 7) "Candid Assertion Blues" by jrmugz 8) "Kittycat Blues" by jefflynnenut 9) "Loosenin' Up" by Helmut and then two songs in the works that will make it 11 songs: 9) "Growing", being finishedd by JLN 10) "Gaylord Town" - should be sent around month's end to Helmut for harmonica solo, and any additional touches he wants to put on it.

Well, I suppose it might be in G then. Let me know if you are going to record it in a key that's not so common (like a flat or something, or even a B) because I might not have the harmonica needed for that.
