I have noticed as I've got older how and where I listen to music has changed.
When I was young and living at home with my Mum and Dad with my first pay cheque I purchased an Amstrad stereo from Woolworths which had pride of place in my bedroom. So any ELO album was then played non stop on my stereo in my bedroom at full blast!
After I got married and had kids I had little time for music but when I could I would listen to ELO through headphones on a Walkman while Mrs Wimp watched the TV.
These days my kids are older and I tend to listen to CDs in the kitchen while washing and cleaning up. Also at the weekend I will connect my phone to the car and listen while driving to friends and on shopping trips.
How things have changed, under what circumstances does everyone manage to listen to ELO these days, relaxing, working, driving, CDs, iPod?? Let us know.

Late at night on my ipod after a few malt whiskies. Pure indulgence.

Mostly when I'm at home. I like to listen to ELO while riding the train or my bike as well.

I listen to ELO on my Iphone. Since I got Itunes Match, it's convenient to have the whole ELO discography available on your phone!
When Secret Messages came out, I used to listen to it, riding my bike in the highest speed possible. The title track is really great for that purpose!

Before I owned any ELO CDs I'd listen their music through YouTube during the day while I was messing about on my laptop - sometimes I'd listen to one song constantly for hours. Now I have the CDs I usually listen to them with earphones at night on my portable player.

OMG...!!!....when i was a kid i had an Amstrad too....though i dont think i got it from Woolworths...!...Wow, now that takes me back. I thought my Amstrad was brilliant for the money... moving on, when i got my own place obviously music listened to the Lounge....now im married its usually the car or headphones when im working....but i have to say i dont know how anyone could listen to their music collection via a phone...maybe thats just me...i mean, convenient for on the go....but not as the actual way you listen to music, never hearing the true bass tones and notes...man...!

Haven't listened much at all in recent years but have gathered a massive spotify playlist which throws them up on shuffle quite a lot. Usually put it on when doing housework, picture me like Snow White trilling along as I dust and mop.....

I prefer to listen to ELO through an mp3 player and headphones while leisurely or quickly riding Big Wheels on some evenings. The music helps deal with the physical discomfort and emotional pain that comes with the activity.
When I can't do that, I'm of the same mind (or mold) as Wilko, with the only difference being the choice of drink. One can't go wrong with cheap wine... unless it's stolen or is used as a laundry detergent.

Usually put it on when doing housework, picture me like Snow White trilling along as I dust and mop..... Day pigs fly. Not pigs, little blue birdies who help me tie the bows on my frilly curtains. Not to mention the other woodland creatures who plump up the cushions and stuff. Don't you do your housework like that?

The wisdom of Rosanne Barr I do follow when it comes to housework - I use a riding lawnmower.

What, for everything? Must make dusting a bit tricky.

Na, it's not the dust. It's the fumes.

So THAT's why you wear that gas mask. I thought you were avoiding me.
