Your note book… love it. You even recorded what you paid for an item and the org price. This line made me laugh, *words next page. Any “Secret Messages” in this sacred tome? Surprised the patch made it through washings. Where was it placed? I want that and your pins.

This is such a fab collection, the sort of stuff most of us have lost or had thrown away by our mums. Nice one

The notebook was a surprise when I found it as I don't remember doing it at all, the latter pages include other artists records I bought not just ELO, I think I must of started it when I taped NWR and OOTB from my brothers friends LPs to my reel to reel tape player, I copied down the band members and lyrics. The patch was on the knee of my jeans, with my ripped jeans I was a cross between a Ramones and ELO fan

The small ELO spaceship badge I would wear to school hidden under the lapel of my blazer so the teachers wouldn't spot it.

Top class! Well impressed and dead jealous! God I thought I was the only one who wrote down the track listing and time of each track! Wow at one stage I could recall the track number and time (minutes and seconds) of any track off OOTB! God its sooo anorak! Bahahaha! Could've been worse. ...I could've been into trains!

This is a true story not one of my made up ELO facts, honest. When me and my brother were on holiday in North Wales with the family we once pinched my Dads spare pair of sunglasses. We found some orange paint and wrote ELO on both of the lenses. When the paint had dried we bet my Dad that he wouldn't walk down Porthmadog high street wearing the glasses. Much to our amusement (I would have been about 14 yrs old) he did with many people saying ello ello to him as he walked past. I was disappointed that the glasses weren't in the loft with my other artefacts, I'll have to check and see if my brother has them.
