'Hate to break it to you, man, but this is definitely fact. The whole good old "Brummie" act is just that. In private, Lynne sounds a lot like Kristy Swanson for some reason.

Bev Beven once wrote a top selling fictional book titled: The Cat Rapist Ha! WTH? 'Talk about a fact thrown from left field. Well, I'm full of surprises... And did you know years later Roy Wood wrote a tribute to Bev's book titled: The Art of Feline Foreplay. Jeff Lynne threatened both of them with acute Dorito infections should they ever publish their books to the UK public.

4th Battalion, The Mercian Regiment has two mascots - a pair of ferrets named Hugh and Melvyn.
At first they'd wanted a goat, but they were a bit worried about Jeff's lawyers.

Since Wizzard scored a massive hit with THAT festive single, Roy Wood has regularly been invited to switch on the Christmas lights in cities throughout the Midlands.
This year, in Austerity Britain, he's been asked to go round switching them off.

Apparently the rehearsal time for Hyde Park was so long because his accent coach couldn't get Jeff to stop prefixing "wow, unbelievable you lot are amazing I can't believe it " with "OMG, Yeh, Relly, Like" He also wanted to wear a tartan mini skirt and carry a chihauhau but Chereene complained 'cos his legs are better than hers.

Mmmmm... Alicia Silverstone. 'Remember the good old days when she was plumper and pinker? Anyway, carry on.

ELO once recorded an alternate music video of the entire Discovery album, in which they wore satin shirts, pranced about in front of rainbows and, during "Last Train to London", fellated The Village People. Drummer Bev Beven, who appeared in the video with a terrible perm, a flowing velvet robe and a foot-long cigarette holder, will punch anybody who so much as mentions it.

Mik Kaminski also debased himself by dressing up as a teenage lesbian school girl called Suki in the Time promo ads, this was done to appeal to the otaku demographic who were swindled by the awesomeness that is Twilight!

Wow, I'm stunned at the imagination of other fellow forum users... I mean, at the knowledge they have about so many ELO indisputable facts.
Vlogdance and PowWow appear to be bosses here.

It has been said that if you play the Secret Messages song backwards, the morse code at the beginning actually spells out: "G'MOK IS A BLEEDIN' POOF!" (courtesy of Richard Tandy)
